Who we are

A small independent publication covering offshore trading platforms and the rules that apply to Indian users. Not owned by a broker, not funded by one.

Why this site exists

Search almost any question about trading platforms in India and you get the same page fifty times: written by an affiliate, sourced from the platform's own marketing, promising 98% payouts and describing an unauthorised offshore platform as "safe and regulated".

None of those pages will tell you that the $10 minimum costs closer to ₹940 once a payment processor converts it, or that winnings are taxed at 30% with no loss set-off, or that every platform in the category sits on the RBI Alert List. Not because the writers do not know — because it does not convert.

We think there is room for the boring, accurate version.

What we actually do

  • We convert everything into rupees, showing the arithmetic, so the advertised dollar figure stops being the end of the conversation.
  • We read the primary sources — the RBI Alert List, the SEBI register, the text of the Income Tax Act — rather than repeating what other sites say about them.
  • We separate what a platform advertises from what is verifiable, and label which is which.
  • We say when we do not know. Payment processor availability changes weekly, and the honest answer is often "check your own payment screen".

What we do not claim

This matters more than the previous list, because the category is full of invented authority.

  • We do not claim to have funded and traded every account we write about. If we run a funded test, it will be published as one, with dates, stake and the full log.
  • We do not attribute pages to analysts or accountants who did not write or review them. Pages are published by the editorial team and we stand behind them collectively.
  • We do not offer investment, legal or tax advice, and we are not licensed to. Where something turns on your circumstances, we say so and point you to someone who is.
  • We do not promise win rates. Fixed-time options carry a structural edge against the trader and no strategy removes it.

Independence and money

The site is not owned by, invested in, or operated by any broker. Some links are affiliate links, disclosed where they appear, and they pay for the site. Scores follow the published criteria and weights, not commission rates.

The clearest evidence is what we publish anyway: the deposit cost analysis that argues against depositing, the tax arithmetic that argues against frequent trading, and the recommendation that anyone who wants regulated derivatives should be on NSE and BSE instead. None of that helps conversion. All of it is true.

Where we hold no working affiliate arrangement with a platform we cover — Pocket Option, currently — we say so on the page rather than quietly leaving it out.

Standards

  • Every figure is labelled as published, primary-sourced, or calculated — with the assumptions shown
  • Regulatory status is checked against the source, with the date recorded
  • Corrections are published and dated, never silent
  • Every page carries the risk warning and the regulatory position

The detail is in our methodology and editorial policy.

Talk to us

Corrections, questions and disagreements are welcome at editorial@binaryoptionsindia.com, or through the contact page. If you have had an experience with a platform we cover — good or bad — we would like to hear it.

Risk warning. Binary options are high-risk speculative products and the majority of retail traders lose money. A payout percentage is the return on a winning trade, not an expected return. Quotex is not authorised by SEBI and appears on the RBI Alert List; Indian residents remitting funds to unauthorised platforms may be exposed under FEMA and have no local dispute resolution. Nothing on this page is investment, legal or tax advice. Consult a SEBI-registered adviser and a chartered accountant before acting. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
