Editorial policy

The rules we hold ourselves to, written down so you can hold us to them.

Editorial independence

Editorial decisions are made independently of commercial relationships. No broker, advertiser or affiliate programme has any input into what we publish, how we score, or which platform we recommend.

If a broker were to make continued participation in its affiliate programme conditional on a change to our coverage, we would leave the programme and publish the exchange.

How affiliate links work

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you open an account through one, we may receive a commission from the platform at no additional cost to you.

  • Affiliate links are marked with rel="sponsored" and disclosed on the page where they appear
  • Commission rates play no part in scoring or ranking. Ranking follows the test data
  • We link to platforms we criticise, and we criticise platforms we link to
  • Some pages carry no affiliate links at all — the legal, tax and regulatory guides are written for accuracy, not conversion

What we will never publish

  • That any binary options platform is SEBI registered or RBI approved. None is, and none can be.
  • A win-rate promise or a "guaranteed" strategy. Fixed-time options carry a structural edge against the trader.
  • Screenshots of profits as evidence. They prove nothing and we do not treat them as data.
  • A copied figure presented as a test result. If we did not measure it, we say where it came from.
  • A page written to a commission rate rather than to what the testing showed.

Sourcing

Regulatory claims are verified against primary sources — the published RBI Alert List and the SEBI intermediary register — with the verification date recorded on the page. Tax analysis cites the section of the Income Tax Act it relies on and is reviewed by a practising chartered accountant before publication.

Test figures come from our own transactions. Where we cite a figure we did not measure, we say so explicitly.

Corrections

Errors are corrected openly:

  1. The correction is made on the page
  2. An entry is added to the update log with the date and what changed
  3. Where a score changes, the previous score and the reason are both recorded

We do not silently edit a page. If a figure on this site is wrong, the record of it being wrong stays visible.

Use of AI

We use AI tools for drafting assistance, code and data analysis. Every published page is reviewed by a named human author who is accountable for its accuracy. No page is published without that review, and no test figure is ever generated rather than measured.

Where we draw the line on harm

This is a high-risk product and most retail traders lose money. We will not write content designed to obscure that, will not use urgency or scarcity tactics, and will not target people who cannot afford the loss.

Every page carries a risk warning, the regulatory position and the tax obligation. If that costs conversions, it costs conversions.

Complaints

If you believe something on this site is inaccurate or misleading, write to editorial@binaryoptionsindia.com. We respond to every substantive complaint and publish corrections where they are warranted.

Risk warning. Binary options are high-risk speculative products and the majority of retail traders lose money. A payout percentage is the return on a winning trade, not an expected return. Quotex is not authorised by SEBI and appears on the RBI Alert List; Indian residents remitting funds to unauthorised platforms may be exposed under FEMA and have no local dispute resolution. Nothing on this page is investment, legal or tax advice. Consult a SEBI-registered adviser and a chartered accountant before acting. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose entirely.
